Position Summary...

As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

What you'll do...

• Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools and tasks, communicate effectively, develop interpersonal skills for customer service, be flexible to business needs, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
• Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of meat products, equipment, and backroom operations; process meat according to specifications; ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and inventory standards; operate and sanitize equipment.
• Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, enhance the shopping experience, and boost associate engagement; utilize handheld technology for immediate business decisions; adapt to new tools and encourage their use.
• Be an Owner: Drive business results, ensure operational excellence, plan for profitability, maintain work areas, ensure product quality, eliminate waste, secure fragile merchandise, assist members with purchasing, and ensure proper packaging and storage.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by valuing member experience and modeling high-quality service; interact with associates to understand and address roadblocks; assist in training.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and ethics; implement related action plans; utilize the Open Door Policy; apply these in business practices.
• Complete work assignments by using policies and resources; collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and partners; prioritize tasks; communicate progress; identify and suggest improvements; adapt and learn from feedback and change.

The hourly wage range is $20.00 to $27.00, with actual pay meeting or exceeding the minimum wage for the location. Additional premiums may apply based on specific circumstances.
