Position Summary
As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
What you'll do
- Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources, communicate effectively, and develop interpersonal skills for providing excellent customer service. Be flexible to the needs of the business, track goods, maintain stock levels, and control shrinkage.
- Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations. Provide meat products to members by processing meat according to specifications, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, sanitation, and inventory management. Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment.
- Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. Use handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality, encouraging others to adopt these tools.
- Be an Owner: Drive business results by ensuring operational excellence, planning for profitability, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and ensuring high-quality merchandise. Assist members with purchasing decisions, proper packaging, labeling, and storage.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by valuing the member experience, modeling high-quality service, and executing duties at the highest level. Train and mentor associates, recognize contributions, and foster a culture of belonging.
- Act with Integrity: Uphold high standards of ethics and compliance, support Walmart's values, and support a culture of accountability and transparency.
- Serve our Customers and Members: Deliver results with a customer-first mindset, making decisions based on reliable information, and considering the impact on the team and stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications
- 6 months’ experience in a fresh production department.
- Must be 18 years or older.
