Position Summary

As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

What you'll do

• Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively; develop interpersonal skills for providing excellent customer service; be flexible to business needs; track goods, maintain stock levels, and control shrinkage.
• Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various meat types and seasonality, equipment usage, and backroom operations; process meat according to specifications (cutting, slicing, grinding, wrapping); ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation, and inventory management; operate and sanitize equipment.
• Be a Techie: Use digital tools to enhance sales, shopping experience, and associate engagement; utilize handheld technology for business decisions related to production, training, and product quality; adapt to and promote new tools.
• Be an Owner: Drive business results by ensuring operational excellence, planning for profitability, maintaining a clean and organized work area, ensuring product quality, reducing waste, securing fragile merchandise, assisting members with purchasing, and proper packaging, labeling, and storage.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by valuing member experience and modeling high-quality service and products; perform duties with high standards; interact with and train associates to overcome roadblocks.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics; implement action plans; communicate effectively; identify improvement opportunities; adapt to change and feedback.
