Position Summary...

As a Senior Meat Cutter, you will drive sales in your area to deliver more of what our members love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

What you'll do...

• Be a Team Member: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, educate other associates on tools and resources, communicate effectively, and develop interpersonal skills for excellent customer service. Be flexible to the needs of the business, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
• Be an Expert: Maintain in-depth knowledge of various meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations. Process meat according to specifications, ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards, and operate and sanitize equipment properly.
• Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, enhance the shopping experience, and increase associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, training, and quality, and encourage others to adopt new tools.
• Be an Owner: Drive business results by ensuring operational excellence, planning for profitability, maintaining a clean work area, ensuring high standards for meat quality, and managing merchandise securely and properly.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club by providing high-quality service and products, and train associates to perform their duties effectively.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics, and implement related action plans.
• Complete work assignments efficiently, communicate progress, and seek continuous improvement.
