Job summary

Blackpoint Cyber is seeking an experienced security professional to join our SOC-focused team. You will analyze suspicious events, perform lead-less threat hunting, and collaborate with MDR analysts to investigate emerging threats.

You will develop incident analysis reports, help refine operational processes, and provide actionable threat assessments across multiple customer environments. This role follows a Monday–Friday day schedule at our office or client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of information security experience with SOC involvement.
• Experience analyzing threats and incident details in large environments.
• Proficiency triaging endpoint events from EDR/NGAV and IR support.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate anomalous events in a 24x7x365 SOC via lead-less threat hunting.
• Collaborate with MDR Analysts to research threats and escalate advanced intrusions.
• Develop incident analysis reports for internal and customer use.
• Design and refine processes to improve SOC efficiency.
• Provide threat and vulnerability analysis across customer environments.
• Build test labs to research techniques and update knowledge base.
• Review sandbox findings for IOCs from artifacts.
