Job summary

Skyline Technology Solutions is seeking a Senior MDM Engineer to serve as technical lead and strategic architect for Mobile Device Management and Microsoft 365 services. You will drive platform ownership and cross-functional technical leadership across Intune, Workspace ONE, and IAM for enterprise and state government customers.

You will define standards, guide practices, and advance modernization efforts while mentoring teams and collaborating with cloud, security, and service delivery groups

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field; 7+ years enterprise MDM experience.
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert (preferred).
• Experience with Microsoft Intune and Omnissa Workspace ONE.
• Strong Microsoft 365 administration and engineering experience.
• Experience with Exchange Online, Entra ID, Entra Connect and IAM.
• Understanding of endpoint security, conditional access and Zero Trust.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior engineering support for Microsoft Intune and Omnissa Workspace ONE environments.
• Lead architecture, implementation, and lifecycle management of MDM solutions.
• Support state government customers and complex endpoint management environments.
• Develop standards for device enrollment, compliance, application delivery, and endpoint security.
• Provide Level 3 support for Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Entra Connect, IAM, and Security.
• Define MDM roadmaps, service standards, and modernization strategies.
• Identify automation and operational improvement opportunities.
• Develop MDM go-to-market offerings and customer solution frameworks.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring.
• Collaborate with cloud, security, infrastructure, and service delivery teams.
• Serve as the senior escalation point for endpoint and Microsoft 365 engineering issues.
• This role provides domain leadership, technical guidance, and best-practice stewardship across the engineering organization.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior MDM Engineer to serve as the technical lead and strategic architect for Mobile Device Management and Microsoft 365 services. This role combines hands-on engineering, operational support, solution architecture, and go-to-market leadership for Intune and Workspace ONE environments supporting enterprise and state government customers.

The position combines advanced platform engineering expertise with the strategic responsibilities of defining standards, guiding practices, and driving the adoption of modern methodologies.

This role requires technical leadership, strong architectural judgment, and proactive initiative that elevates operational excellence across the organization.

You can expect to spend your time accomplishing the following:

• 50% of the time on Objective 1: Platform Ownership
• 25% of the time on Objective 2: MDM Strategy and Continuous Improvement
• 25% of the time on Objective 3: Cross-Functional Technical Leadership

Your knowledge & Expertise

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field and/or 7+ years of enterprise MDM experience
• Preferred Certifications:
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert
• Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Intune and Omnissa Workspace ONE
• Strong Microsoft 365 administration and engineering experience
• Experience with Exchange Online, Entra ID, Entra Connect and IAM
• Understanding of endpoint security, compliance, Conditional Access and Zero Trust
• Strong customer-facing communication and project leadership skills
• Experience with Android Zero-Touch
• Experience building managed service offerings and go-to-market strategies
• ITIL experience and managed services background
• Strong technical leadership; able to guide teams and influence best practices at scale
• Exceptional cross-functional communication — able to translate complex systems behavior into clear, actionable insights
• Highly collaborative, comfortable working across platform, application, security, compliance, and operations teams
