Job summary

Marlabs Inc. is seeking a skilled Business Analyst – MDM & Data Governance to bridge business and technical teams in building enterprise data management solutions. The role focuses on gathering requirements, defining data standards, and supporting MDM implementations.

You will work with data stewards and engineers to ensure governance and quality across master data initiatives, leveraging platforms like Profisee or similar tools. This position emphasizes collaboration and rigorous analysis.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of BA experience in MDM, data governance, or data strategy.
• Strong requirements gathering, workshops, and documentation skills.
• Experience with MDM platforms such as Profisee, Informatica MDM, or similar.
• Understanding of data governance, stewardship, metadata, and data quality.
• Experience with SQL, reporting, and enterprise data platforms; testing support.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and data requirements for MDM initiatives.
• Facilitate workshops and interviews to define master data standards and governance.
• Develop business requirements documents, user stories, and data mappings.
• Define match/merge rules, survivorship logic, and data quality requirements.
• Collaborate with Data Stewards, Architects, Engineers, and MDM teams.
• Support testing, validation, issue resolution, and stakeholder communications.
