Job summary

State Street Markets is hiring a Senior Managing Director to lead collateral and market risk across our expanding product set in Boston. The role focuses on coordinating Front Office policies, regulatory margins, and risk analytics while partnering with trading desks, ERM, and Global Treasury.

You will manage a global team of risk analysts, oversee audits and examinations, and drive technology and governance for risk management infrastructure. A Master's degree and CFA/FRM are strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree or equivalent in Business, Economics, Financial Engineering, Quantitative Finance, or similar
• Professional designation (CFA, FRM) strongly preferred
• 15+ years experience in capital markets risk management, Prime Brokerage and OTC Trading preferred
• Experience interacting with a broad range of clients including hedge funds, 40-Act funds, pensions funds and central banks

Responsibilities

• Design, own, and maintain Collateral and Margin policies and models in the Front Office (UMR for OTC Derivatives trading)
• Oversee daily management and monitoring of collateral across multiple products and entities
• Lead a global team of market and collateral risk analysts and plan succession/coverage
• Coordinate Market Risk and Collateral topics during internal audits and regulatory exams
• Lead technology development efforts and strategic direction of risk management infrastructure
• Ensure alignment with industry best practices through engagement with peers and industry groups
