Job summary

Astrion seeks a MBSE/Digital Engineer Lead Senior at LA AFB, El Segundo, CA. This role focuses on Model Based Systems Engineering and digital engineering to support US Space Force, Space Systems Integration Office. Requires TS with SCI eligibility and 10+ years of experience in MBSE/analysis.

You will design, develop and test software, translate requirements into robust designs, lead a contract digital engineering team, and ensure disciplined ZA processes and credible products.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of federal government/industry experience or SETA/FFRDC work.
• Proficient in programming and able to work independently.
• Expert at applying regulations, law and policy with proven results.

Responsibilities

• Perform MBSE and digital engineering for USSF Space Systems.
• Create analytic frameworks for modeling & simulating materiel solutions.
• Design, develop and test critical software across lifecycle stages.
• Translate requirements into robust, testable software designs.
• Lead contract digital engineering team and communicate plans clearly.
• Ensure software quality through requirements analysis and code reviews.
• Support ZA engineering processes to maintain disciplined, credible products.
• Develop and maintain Model-Based Systems Engineering tools and environments.
