Job summary

Fugro is seeking a Senior MBE Data Processor to integrate and analyze data from multiple sources for offshore survey and construction projects. You will lead complex MBES and photogrammetry data workflows and deliver high-quality client reports.

You will mentor Survey Analysts, ensure adherence to procedures, and collaborate with the Team Lead to drive successful project delivery. Strong leadership and 7+ years MBES experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of multibeam data processing experience.
• 3+ years in leadership or lead-level project oversight.
• Proficiency with ESRI and AutoCAD; ROV-mounted MBES experience.

Job Description

Fugro's MAI Data Services provides offshore survey, inspection, positioning, and asset integrity data processing services. The team transforms complex marine and subsea geo-data into actionable insights that help clients inspect, construct, maintain, and operate offshore infrastructure safely and efficiently.

The Senior MBE Data Processor is responsible for integrating and analyzing data from multiple sources, including Fugro's proprietary GIS systems, client documentation, and publicly available data. This role performs complex calculations, conducts detailed survey data analysis, and prepares high-quality client deliverables in support of offshore survey and construction projects.

In addition to technical responsibilities, the will provides guidance, mentoring, and technical support to Survey Analysts, ensuring adherence to established procedures, best practices, and quality standards. They works closely with the Team Lead to ensure the successful execution of project deliverables.

They will serves as the lead analyst on highly complex projects and is expected to manage technical deliverables, data quality, and project workflows. Typical projects include, but are not limited to:

• Pipeline Inspection Surveys
• Multibeam Echo Sounder (MBES) Surveys
• Photogrammetry Surveys
• Other complex offshore positioning, construction support, and survey projects

Senior Multibeam Data Processor with extensive experience in ROV-based multibeam processing , surface multibeam ,including end-to-end project execution from setup through final data delivery.

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

Ability to read, analyse, and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedures.

Ability to present information and respond to questions from project managers and customers.

Ability to work with mathematical concepts.

Job Requirements

Legally Authorized to work in the United States, without restrictions.

High school diploma required; higher education is preferred.

Have 7 years or more of multibeam data processing experience.

Have 3 to more years of leadership or lead-level experience overseeing projects, personnel, or MBE survey operations.

Strong expertise in multibeam data processing, with hands-on experience operating and troubleshooting. Example ROV mounted MBE sensors.

Proficient with EIVA and JANUS processing software and experienced supporting offshore pipeline inspection projects.

Working knowledge of ESRI and AutoCAD software. Exposure to Cyclone and Agisoft Metashape is considered a plus, particularly for photogrammetry-related projects.

Demonstrates a strong understanding of the technical aspects.
