Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Package Consultant 2 to join the EAIS team. You will participate in requirements gathering, help design and customize ERP modules, and develop new features integrated with existing applications.

You will configure interfaces, run ETL processes, and ensure data consistency across ERP systems. You will work on IBM Maximo v8.0+ migrations, data migration with Informatica, and BI data modeling with BIRT.

Qualifications

• Experience in Configuration & Integration, Support and Maintenance in IBM Maximo v8.0+.
• Application design and automation scripting using Python/Java scripts; complex Maximo configurations.
• Hands-on experience with REST and JSON based integration; middleware integrations (Mulesoft, SAP PI).
• Maximo migration experience with release and deployment management.
• Data migration experience (Informatica and MIF framework).
• Experience in data modeling for BI reporting and hands-on BIRT experience.

Responsibilities

In the assigned Job Role of Package Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Participate in requirements gathering with stakeholders across business units and assist in validating specifications to ensure alignment with business objectives and ERP capabilities
• Contribute to solution architecture design by assisting in customizing modules and features of ERP package, based on detailed business requirements
• Develop and integrate new features into existing applications, conduct code reviews and maintain the codebase for stability and compliance
• Participate in system integration efforts by configuring interfaces, executing ETL processes, and ensuring consistent data flow between ERP and other applications
• Assess ERP system performance to identify enhancement opportunities and to ensure that ERP customizations are in compliance with security measures and regulatory standards
• Develop comprehensive documentation for ERP customizations and deliver user training to facilitate effective knowledge transfer

Your contribution to the team:

• Knowledge of ERP systems and integration techniques, along with sector focus
• The ability to handle end to end ERP package customization and implementation
• A knack for translating complex requirements into actionable development tasks.
• A passion for design and hands‑on coding experience
• A collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills with cross‑functional teams and client stakeholders

Required Skill and Experience

• Experience in Configuration & Integration, Support and Maintenance in IBM Maximo v8.0+
• Application design, Automation scripts using Python / Java scripts, Complex maximo configurations
• Hands on experience on Rest and Jason based integration
• Middleware integrations ex – Mulesoft, SAP PI
• Maximo migration experience with release and deployment management activities
• Data migration experience informatica and MIF framework
• Experience in Data modeling for BI reporting and hands on BIRT experience.

Preferred Skill and Experience

• Hands on experience & working knowledge in Maximo Asset Management (Solution design, development and implementation)
• Working knowledge of capabilities in the IBM Maximo EAM/APM solution and Maximo Integration Framework

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
