Job summary
Southeastern Idaho Public Health (SIPH) seeks a Maternal Infant RN Senior to support postpartum mothers with practical resources, trusted education, and ongoing clinical care to help families stay healthy in the first year after birth.
Join a team-oriented, value-driven workplace with travel across eight counties to provide on-site home visits, virtual check-ins, and referral coordination. A flexible schedule and potential hybrid arrangement after training are available.
Qualifications
- Idaho RN license required.
- Minimum 1 year public health nursing experience.
- Maternal-infant program experience preferred.
- Ability to travel to multiple counties.
Responsibilities
- Provide practical resources, education, and clinical support to postpartum mothers.
- Travel to mothers' homes across eight counties.
- Document vitals and assessments in EMR promptly.
- Coordinate referrals to medical providers and community resources.
- Educate and counsel families on nutrition, infant care, and maternal health.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to meet program goals.
