Job summary

Momentive Technologies in Newark, OH, is seeking a Materials Scheduling Manager to lead the Quartz BU’s scheduling across three U.S. plants.

You will drive OTIF improvements, reduce inventory and lead times, and partner with Commercial, ISR, Operations, Finance, and Quality to optimize customer orders. The role requires 10+ years in supply chain/operations, strong SAP skills, and a track record in continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science/Engineering/Business Administration.
• 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain/Commercial/Operations.
• Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent analytical skills and strong process mindset.
• APICS certification preferred.
• Experience with S-4 Hana and Lean/Six Sigma exposure.

Responsibilities

• Leads and oversees Scheduling team members for multiple product lines at three U.S. plants; back-up for all schedulers.
• Tracks OTIF performance, codes misses, and drives cross-functional CI to improve OTIF.
• Primary liaison for Production Planning with Commercial, Logistics, and Manufacturing.
• Manage expedited orders, quick-turns, and capacity planning; provide status updates to ISR and planners.
• Owns NPI workflow for raw materials and finished goods; coordinates material requests.
• Publish and maintain lead times for each product line; participate in plant meetings and Gemba walks.
• Contribute to campaign management and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee inventory management of materials across three plants; lead SAP packaging material management and safety stock levels.
• Identify capacity bottlenecks and work with Operations to mitigate deficits.
• Attend supply meetings with Sales and Operations; lead additional planning meetings with multiple stakeholders.
