Alexander Wang Inc. seeks a Sr. Manager, Raw Materials, R&D to lead the technical engine behind fabric and materials innovation. You will own the science, testing, and execution from concept to production-ready material, operating at the intersection of textile science, sustainability, and manufacturing feasibility.

You will manage structured R&D projects, collaborate with Design and Sourcing, and drive lab dips, core fabric bases, and supplier partnerships to meet pricing and margin targets.

Formación

• Bachelor-level or higher in textile science, materials science, or chemistry.
• Experience leading hands-on R&D for fabrics, finishes, or treatments.
• Ability to translate briefs into technical specs and trials.

Responsabilidades

• Lead structured R&D projects from concept through validation.
• Translate innovation priorities into defined briefs, specs, and timelines.
• Launch and manage lab dip processes with mills for timely readiness.
• Develop core fabric bases balancing innovation with cost targets.
• Collaborate with mills, labs, and suppliers on trials and development.
• Manage R&D budget, validation testing, and travel.
