Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. seeks a Senior Process/Manufacturing Engineer to lead the development, scale-up, and transfer of advanced materials manufacturing for innovative syringe coatings and related technologies.

You will apply DOE, statistical analysis, and surface engineering to create robust processes and enable technology translation across R&D and manufacturing teams. You will mentor researchers, collaborate with engineering, quality, regulatory, and product development, and

Qualifications

• Industrial R&D experience translating materials processing to pilot-scale or manufacturing.
• Expertise in advanced materials processing, surface engineering, coatings, and thin films.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary projects and collaborating across functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead research and scale-up of advanced materials manufacturing for medical devices.
• Design and implement DOE-based process development and optimization.
• Transfer technology from lab to pilot-scale; collaborate with engineering and manufacturing.
• Mentor scientists and engineers; generate IP and publish findings.
• Ensure compliance with GDP, safety, and quality systems.
