Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking an Engineer to provide direct support for maintenance, operation, and project planning for cleanroom processing propellent loading and waste collection systems and associated gas processing.

The role involves working with Fluids/Propellent Engineers and leading project teams to implement improvements and recapitalization efforts on facility operations, SCADA systems, and related components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemistry, Petroleum, Materials Engineering, or equivalent.
• Excellent documentation, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat‑transfer fundamentals.
• Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI w/Poly government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facility systems with a team of Fluids/Propellent Engineers for project and O&M tasks.
• Lead project teams for improvement and recapitalization projects.
• Investigate SCADA system alarms and troubleshoot irregular sensor data.
• Investigate and replace failed or non-conforming components.
• Identify scope of work for Fluids Engineering designs based on customer requirements.
• Assess and analyze operation of existing systems using trend analyses.
• Update documentation to drawings by drafters and configuration management.
• Prepare detailed estimates and develop probable cost estimates for projects.
