Job summary

Bechtel’s Manufacturing & Technology (M&T) Unit is designing a new API manufacturing facility in Houston, TX. This role supports material planning and coordination to ensure timely delivery of materials for work package installation on a major site.

You will liaison between Project and Field Procurement, Construction, and Engineering to uphold the Material Management Plan and schedule alignment. A bachelor's degree and substantial experience in supply chain are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of supply chain, procurement, materials management, expediting, and logistics principles.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills coordinating across teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn project systems.

Responsibilities

• Implements the Material Management Plan and coordinates materials identification and quantification with Engineering and Construction.
• Optimizes materials planning processes for key material commodities.
• Ensures consistent material identification and responsibilities across project functions and procurement.
