• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Material selection and evaluation to balance performance, weight, cost, and environmental factors.
• Plan and oversee tensile, thermal, corrosion, and microstructure testing.
• Lead root-cause investigations for material failures and implement long-term fixes.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to optimize processes and reduce scrap.
• Write technical reports and present findings to stakeholders.
• Partner with suppliers for audits and material qualification.
