Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Senior Material Verification Engineer to lead the disposition and management of nonconforming material across Raytheon facilities andGX0 third‑party logistics partner. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment and support inspection processes for supplied materials and products to strengthen Operations Quality.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience.
• Relevant experience is working in quality control or material inspection.
• Previous experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 quality management systems.
• Previous experience with hardware, product, manufacturing, or operations engineering.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage supplied non‑conforming material.
• Support RTV activities.
• Ensure full compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities using CORE.
• Work directly with Raytheon suppliers to drive the closure of material on hold.
• Work with inspectors to ensure the material is moved efficiently through inspection process after engineering disposition.
