Job summary

PDS Inc. in North Reading, MA, seeks a Material Program Manager to drive end-to-end material readiness across the product lifecycle, bridging engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing to align material strategies with milestones.

You will own the Material Readiness Report, govern ECO-to-PO changes, build dashboards, manage BOM maturity from prototype to production, and lead remediation of shortages while communicating risks to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• BOM Management across development phases (EVT/DVT/PVT) with maturity tracking and readies builds.
• ERP/MRP systems proficiency to track POs, demand signals, and supply planning outputs.
• Ability to lead across engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and quality to resolve constraints.
• Analytical skills to build dashboards and report risks with data to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own Material Readiness Report with cross-functional visibility into risk and readiness-to-build.
• Govern ECO-to-PO changes and ensure engineering changes translate to supply chain action.
• Develop dashboards, trackers, and escalation frameworks for risk mitigation.
• Coordinate BOM maturity from prototype to volume production and manage phase-in/out strategies.
• Lead material allocation decisions and resolve shortages or receipt holds.
• Communicate material risks and recommendations to senior leadership with data.
