Job Purpose

Understand existing and future capacity plans and constraints at designated manufacturing sites and distribution networks to ensure supply demands are met and the production plan executed. Develop and maintain effective relationships with procurement, suppliers, other planning teams, manufacturing, logistics, customer care, and additional stakeholders. Support project and process improvements to enhance performance and efficiency of material planning activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and update material planning, managing material availability to ensure production plans are met. Will provide impact analysis, prepare reports, and manage exceptions as needed.
  • Create purchase order, informing production planning of timelines. Will review the twelve-week outlook for the material plan, considering account capacity agreement and storage capacity at the designated site.
  • Balance service level and inventory targets of raw and packing materials, monitoring cost impacts on manufacturing.
  • Manage reduction and prevention of slow and obsolete stock. Ensure rework and scrapping are conducted at designated sites.
  • Input and maintain inventory of existing, new, and phase-out products for raw and packaging materials into the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, ensuring safety stock levels. Will ensure the accuracy and proper housekeeping of transactional data.
  • Serve as the supply representative during Gatekeeping meetings with other departments, providing relevant key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive performance.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field.
  • 3 years' supply planning experience in paints and coatings, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), or retail industries with focus on supply chain improvement or consulting.
  • Experience using ntegrated business planning processes and advanced supply planning tools.
  • Efficient project and change management skills with the ability to coordinate teams, manage stakeholders, and drive results.
  • Effective problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and analyze issues, providing recommendations for resolution.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Must be able to interact with stakeholders throughout the organization.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office. Experience using SAP and Power BI.
Rewards and Benefits

The salary range for these skills is $82,000.00 - $90,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
