Job summary

Fluor Corporation is seeking a senior materials management professional to oversee critical material orders and supervise personnel on a large project. You will ensure proper inductions, lead training, and plan/execute material planning, purchasing, and logistics to support project operations.

The role requires a four-year degree with extensive related experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to learn applicable statutes and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Accredited four-year degree and six years of related experience, or 10 years' equivalent without a degree.
• Strong communication with audiences including management, coworkers, clients, vendors, and visitors.
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
• Attention to detail and time-conscious, efficient work.”

Responsibilities

• Manage critical material orders and supervise personnel at a management level on a large project.
• Ensure personnel are properly inducted in project procedures, systems, and responsibilities.
• Lead functional/discipline training requirements for personnel to execute their roles on the project.
• Plan and execute material planning, purchasing, or logistics for commodities or engineered equipment to support project operations and office operations.
• Assist in handling complex material planning, purchasing, logistics, or field purchasing functions and execute within approved Material Management Plans.
• Procure engineered equipment and materials in accordance with the Material Management Plan.
• Other duties as assigned.
