Job summary

Nestlé Health Science in Bohemia, NY is seeking a Senior Material Handler to lead dispensing and handling of raw materials for production. You will verify labels, document processes, and mentor teammates while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires 2–3 years in manufacturing or material handling, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and comfort with powders, chemicals, and allergens. Expect hours Mon-Fri, 7:00am-3:30pm, and onboarding in the first week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2–3 years of manufacturing or material handling experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and move throughout your shift.
• Comfortable working around powders, chemicals, and food allergens.
• Flexible to work overtime based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Dispense raw materials according to specifications.
• Verify labels and document dispensing processes.
• Load and unload raw materials; report damage or inconsistencies.
• Scale, measure, and sample materials with precision.
• Support overflow tasks and collaborate across departments.
• Assist with inventory adjustments and cycle counts.
• Mentor peers and support a positive team environment.
• Troubleshoot issues and escalate when needed.
• Enter data using paper forms, computers, or tablets.
• Follow safety rules, GMPs, SOPs, and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
