Job summary

Nestlé Health Science in the United States is hiring a Material Handler to load, verify, and replenish materials, helping maintain inventory accuracy and safety compliance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role supports production, handling packaging and labeling, with shifts across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd and sites at 90 Orville Drive, Bohemia and 815 Grundy Avenue, Holbrook. Onboarding is a structured 4–5 day program with strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Understanding of material handling and equipment preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50lbs and move throughout your shift.
• Comfortable working around powders, chemicals, and food allergens.
• Flexible to work overtime based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload raw materials; verify batch codes and expiration dates.
• Replenish materials in bins/hoppers to prevent shortages.
• Report damaged or inconsistent materials to leadership.
• Wrap products manually or using a wrapping machine.
• Label and verify product selection and quantity.
• Perform basic housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean work area.
• Enter data using paper forms, computers, or tablets.
• Follow safety rules, GMPs, SOPs, and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
