Job summary

ACL Digital in San Diego is seeking a Senior Material Handler to support warehouse operations, order picking, and inventory distribution for internal programs and external customers. The role requires operating forklifts, managing material transfers, and using inventory software to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

You will log inventory moves in Oracle, AIMS, MRW, QPI, and Agile, collaborate with shipping teams, and ensure timely fulfillment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 2-3 years of experience in material handling, warehousing, shipping, or receiving.
• Solid computer proficiency and familiarity with warehouse/inventory software; knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong written/verbal communication, basic math skills, and high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Warehouse Operations: Pull, stock, pack, box, and transfer inventory; generate and fulfill material requests efficiently.
• Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, hand trucks, and pickers for order pulling, put-away, and stocking.
• System Transactions: Log and track physical and systematic inventory moves using computer systems and software (Oracle, AIMS, MRW, QPI, Agile).
• Shipping & Receiving: Assist with material handling, inventory control, and distribution tasks.

Contract Duration: (6 Months)

Pay Rate Range: $21/hr.

Shift: Standard US Day Shift, 5-day work week, 40 hours per week

Position Overview

The Senior Material Handler supports warehouse operations, order picking, and inventory distribution for internal programs and external customers. This role involves operating forklifts, managing physical and systematic material transfers, and using inventory management software to maintain 100% operational accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Warehouse Operations: Pull, stock, pack, box, and transfer inventory; generate and fulfill material requests efficiently.
• Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, hand trucks, and pickers for order pulling, put-away, and stocking.
• System Transactions: Log and track physical and systematic inventory moves using computer systems and software (Oracle, AIMS, MRW, QPI, Agile).
• Shipping & Receiving: Assist with material handling, inventory control, and distribution tasks.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma and a good driving record.
• 2-3 years of experience in material handling, warehousing, shipping, or receiving.
• Solid computer proficiency and familiarity with warehouse/inventory software; knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong written/verbal communication, basic math skills, and high attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 25-50 lbs occasionally and stand/sit for 8+ hours per day.
