Responsibilities

  • Timely processing of all outbound material to the field.
  • Analyze material and prioritize disposition of parts.
  • Handle Software key requests: receive, verify, ship.
  • Ensure accurate, timely ASML shipments to customers.
  • Manage daily emergency and priority orders for customers.
  • Report production progress, delays and causes; escalate to minimize shortages.
  • Ensure information and material flows follow standard processes; address deviations.
  • Participate in projects to optimize cross-functional processes.

Senior Material Handler to support the materials processing and paperwork for the team at the Newtown, CT facility.

Roles and responsibilities
  • Timely processing of all outbound material to the field.
  • Analyze material and prioritize the dispositioning of said parts.
  • Handle all Software key requests. Receive request, check validity and send out keys.
  • Ensure accurate, timely ASML shipments to our customers
  • Handling of all daily emergency and priority orders for our customers.
  • Reporting and communication - Anticipate problems and proactively communicate across various departments to solution. Report on production progress, delays and causes. Initiate actions to correct deviations from planning, taking the necessary escalation steps to minimize critical shortages in the field.
  • Ensure that information and material-flows are handled according to regular processes and plans. Solve deviations/disruptions quickly.
  • Initiate improvements and participate in projects to improve and optimize cross-sector business processes.
Education and experience
  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • 2+ years of experience in Material Handling, Inventory Control, and/or Inventory Management
  • General computer proficiencies including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch.
  • The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Can work under deadlines.
  • The environment generally is moderate in temperature with moderate to high noise level.
  • Must be willing to work standard office hours and be flexible to convert to a compressed work week schedule – twelve-hour long shift and rotating from three to four days a week.
  • This must include references to day and night shifts for accommodation purposes.
