Job summary

Sonic Automotive's Audi Downtown Nashville is seeking a Master Audi Technician to perform repairs and maintenance to dealer and factory standards. You will diagnose, repair, and inspect vehicles using state-of-the-art equipment, ensuring quality and safety.

We require 4+ years of experience, Master Audi or German-brand certification, MDT/ASE certifications, and an own tool set. We offer a competitive compensation range of $150K–$200K+ annually based on performance, plus a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Master Audi (or German brand) certification or equivalent.
• MDT and ASE certifications preferred.
• 4+ years of mechanic or automotive service technician experience.
• Must have own set of tools.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with diagnostic equipment.
• Knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Use diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical, electrical, and other vehicle issues.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other systems as outlined on repair orders.
• Work efficiently to diagnose malfunctions and complete repairs within established timeframes.
• Collaborate with service advisors, technicians, lead technician, foreman, and parts department to prioritize and schedule repairs.
• Conduct thorough quality inspections to ensure repairs meet industry standards and safety requirements.
• Document all diagnostic and repair activities accurately.
• Complete repair orders and maintain detailed records of services performed.
• Attend factory-sponsored training classes to stay informed about the latest automotive technologies and industry trends.
• Attend training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
