Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Poultry Science or related field, or 4 years related work experience.
• 6 years poultry processing/sales/marketing experience.
• 3 years experience in Master Scheduling with a preference in Poultry Planning.

Responsibilities

• Strategizing production assets in the short term gearing up for promotional demand activity and long term seasonality.
• Identifying operational opportunities and risks and presenting them effectively in order to drive the right decisions from stakeholders.
• Leading a cross departmental team while working Improved Business Intelligence using higher level Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
• Manages the activities of production, inventory & logistics planning with contract manufacturers.
• Leading a cross-departmental team, while extending planning processes for dark meat and International business.
• Responsible for raw material production and procurement planning to support finished goods production plan.
• Acts as a liaison between plants/operation units and sales, related to commodity sales and procurement activities.
• Key contributor in information for decision making on new business opportunities covering the 0 to 3 month horizon.
• Analyze and organize a master schedule. Analyze the demand and supply balance at the product family and master schedule levels, determining out of balance conditions, identifying alternatives, and recommending action for approval.
• Develop a working knowledge of the company’s products and processes to ensure optimal master schedule stability, order creation, rescheduling, load leveling, etc.
