Job summary

Winland Foods, Inc. seeks a Senior Master Scheduler to develop and maintain integrated production and capacity plans balancing demand, capability, and inventory. This role leads the S&OP process with Demand Planning and drives improvements across planning systems and processes.

You will manage data integrity, coach peers, and participate in special projects to enhance network performance. Remote work with occasional travel to nearby plants is available.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field strongly preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in production planning, detailed scheduling, replenishment planning, demand planning or materials management.

Responsibilities

  • Generate weekly/monthly production and capacity plans using systems and processes that support the organization’s goals.
  • Maintain data integrity in systems to facilitate efficient inventory and capacity management, customer service, and operational metrics.
  • Co-lead with Demand Planning on monthly category level Sales & Operation Planning (S&OP) process.
  • Utilize systems to identify key drivers and communicate solutions to service and inventory issues.
  • Maintain inputs for safety stocks and inventory targets; support daily R&R process with CS and Transportation.
  • Provide backup and support for other Supply Chain functions; lead or participate in projects to improve planning capability.
  • Track and reconcile weekly/monthly metrics vs targets; update planning rates to reflect plant capacity.
  • Lead or participate in special projects; coach peers on best practices; support AOP process.

This role plays a critical leadership position within Supply Chain Planning by translating demand and inventory strategies into executable, capacity-constrained production plans that support service, cost, and working capital objectives. As a category-level planning leader, the Senior Master Scheduler co-leads the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process alongside Demand Planning, proactively identifies risks to service and inventory performance, and drives alignment across Operations, Customer Service, Transportation, and Planning. The role ensures data integrity, planning discipline, and continuous improvement in planning rates, safety stock inputs, and system processes.
