Job summary

A growing equipment service company in Statesville is looking for an experienced Master Mechanic (Heavy Equipment) to lead diagnostic and repair projects for heavy construction machinery. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in equipment repair, effective mentoring skills, and a commitment to safety and performance. This full-time position includes on-call hours and may require occasional overnight travel. Competitive compensation is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in heavy equipment repair.
• 3+ years at a senior or lead mechanic level required.
• Valid driver's license; CDL may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting of heavy equipment.
• Conduct major overhauls of engines and hydraulic systems.
• Lead complex repair projects and mentor junior mechanics.
