Job summary

ProAmpac is seeking a Senior Master Data Steward to strengthen governance, quality, and integrity of enterprise data across customer, vendor, material/product, and finance domains. You will partner with business and IT to set standards, processes, and controls for accurate, consistent data.

You will influence data domains, shape governance practices, and collaborate on ERP initiatives, M&A integrations, and enterprise data governance evolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in master data management, data stewardship, governance, or related discipline.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Experience with MDM, governance, or data quality platforms such as SAP MDG, Informatica MDM, Stibo STEP, Reltio, Profisee, or Collibra.
• Strong SQL and Excel skills with data analysis, profiling, and validation.
• Strong understanding of data governance principles and data quality dimensions.
• Ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end lifecycle of master data domains, including creation, enrichment, maintenance, and retirement.
• Establish and maintain data standards, definitions, naming conventions, and business rules with data owners.
• Monitor data quality through KPIs and dashboards, identify root causes, and lead corrective actions.
• Lead data cleansing, deduplication, and harmonization initiatives for enterprise projects and system migrations.
• Serve as subject matter expert for master data management tools, processes, and workflows.
• Partner with IT to improve automation, validation controls, and approval processes.
• Maintain business glossary, data dictionary, and data lineage documentation.
• Support audit, regulatory, and compliance requirements including SOX and GDPR.
• Mentor junior data stewards and educate stakeholders on governance best practices.
• Participate in enterprise data governance activities and prioritize opportunities to improve data quality.
