Job summary

Wohlsen Construction Company is seeking an experienced Foreman with strong master carpentry skills to lead framing and trim installations on job sites in Los Angeles. The candidate will read blueprints, supervise crew members, and ensure adherence to safety and building codes.

The role requires a minimum 5 years of carpentry experience, 2+ years in supervision, and OSHA certification. Local travel and on-site work are expected in a dynamic construction environment.

Qualifications

• Master carpentry with 5+ years experience.
• 5–10 years construction experience.
• 2+ years supervisory experience.
• OSHA 10 (OSHA 30 preferred) certification.

Responsibilities

• Erects, assembles, and installs framing (steel stud and wood stud).
• Installs wood and metal in-wall blocking/roof, window, and door blocking.
• Sets door frames (wood and metal) and installs doors/hardware.
• Installs interior and exterior trim and prefinished millwork.
• Performs demolition work and other construction tasks to complete projects.
• Reads blueprints and coordinates with crew leaders; maintains safety standards.
