Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2+ years of Mason experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
• Knowledge of masonry techniques, tools, and materials.
• Physically fit to lift heavy objects and work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and follow construction plans.
• Lay out patterns or foundations using measuring tools.
• Mix mortar or grout and apply it to surfaces.
• Use hand or power tools to cut and shape materials.
• Construct corners or walls using brick or other materials.
• Repair or replace damaged bricks or stones.
• Ensure the levelness of structures using levels or plumb bobs.
• Install insulation materials in walls when necessary.
