Job description

We are seeking a skilled Mason to join our construction team in Washington. As a Mason you will be responsible for building and repairing structures such as walls, floors and foundations using various materials including bricks, concrete blocks and stones.

This is a contract position with a salary of $1000 and we prefer candidates with experience in masonry work.

Responsibilities
  • Build and repair structures according to blueprints or specifications
  • Measure and cut materials to specific sizes
  • Mix mortar or grout and spread it evenly over the designated area
  • Lay bricks, concrete blocks or stones in a pattern to create walls or other structures
  • Use hand tools and power tools to shape or cut materials as needed
  • Repair any damaged structures or surfaces
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Mason or similar role
  • Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
  • Familiarity with different types of masonry materials and their use
  • Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials
  • Attention to detail and precision in work
  • Good communication skills
  • Biometric passport for identification purposes
