Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Sr. MarkLogic Developer to join Intel Security Sector's Analysis Solutions Business Area. You will design, develop, and maintain MarkLogic-based applications with Java/XQuery logic in a DevOps context, contributing to mission-critical systems.

You will build and test solutions, validate software, and collaborate across teams using SAFe practices, AWS deployment, and modern JS/Java tech.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on application development utilizing the MarkLogic framework.
• Strong analytical and design skills to translate business requirements into technical designs.
• Experience with service-oriented architecture applications.
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Design and Design Patterns.
• Experience implementing the MarkLogic java-client-api in an enterprise app.
• Strong Java and data processing/querying (SQL/NoSQL).
• Bachelor's with 8+ years or Master’s with 6+ years of relevant experience; degree may be substituted by experience.
• TS/SCI with polygraph is required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop solutions integrating MarkLogic with enterprise platforms and systems.
• Develop XQuery, JavaScript, and REST modules on the MarkLogic stack.
• Develop Entity models and participate in projects using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, Angular, Python, SpringBoot, and Hibernate.
• Develop and direct software validation and testing methods using Junit and Katalon.
• Create and integrate automated deployment solutions; support Agile lifecycle with SAFe practices.
• Analyze concepts, performance, and testing; coordinate infra needs driven by software.
