Job summary

Oriental Bank is seeking a Senior Digital Graphic Designer to join the marketing team in a hybrid role based in San Juan, PR. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field and 3–5 years of experience in graphic/digital marketing design.
• Proficiency with design and editing software like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere) and other tools like Figma, Sketch, or similar.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Responsive design skills to create designs that adapt well to different sizes and devices.
• User experience (UX) awareness to enhance usability in designs based on how users interact with digital content.
• Basic animation skills for some projects, animated social media posts, GIFs, or simple website animations.
• Basic HTML/CSS knowledge.
• Fully bilingual - Spanish and English (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Understand project requirements and concepts; translate them into impactful visual designs.
• Create digital assets for various channels and formats.
• Design eye‑catching social media content for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
• Craft visually appealing email templates, headers, and promotional graphics.
• Create informative and engaging infographics to convey complex information.
• Collaborate with web developers to enhance the user experience through well‑designed web elements.
• Produce offline assets such as OOH and TV storyboards.
• Pitch creative ideas to the team and incorporate feedback to improve designs; collaborate to launch projects and manage color correction as needed.
