Job summary

IA Interior Architects in Chicago or Austin seeks a Senior Marketing Coordinator for its Corporate Marketing Studio. This hybrid role requires 3 days in the office and spans marketing planning, market research, proposals, presentations, and materials development.

Qualifications

• BA in marketing, communications, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 8-10 years’ experience in marketing support of interior design, construction, engineering, architecture, or related industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop annual marketing plans with Director of Global Marketing and offices’ managing principals.
• Conduct market and prospect research.
• Lead proposals, including strategy, organizing, writing, and producing proposals (with principals and staff).
• Develop presentations.
• Develop and maintain online and printed marketing materials.
• Maintain marketing information systems, including database and other resources.
• Coordinate work of vendors (photographers, reprographics, etc.).
• Participate in marketing meetings and produce marketing reports.
• Develop PR/Communications strategy with assigned local offices’ principals.
• Monitor general and industry publications to keep apprised of developments, trends, and opportunities.
• Participate in placement of press releases, brochure copy, articles, blog and social posts.
• Direct and coordinate advertising, direct mail and e-newsletters, seminars, event planning, and exhibit participation.
• Identify and oversee preparation for speaking and sponsorship opportunities.
