Job Description

    Key Responsibilities:

    - Drive new business and exceed sales growth goals in the assigned territory
    - Serve as a subject matter expert and advocate for Labcorp's testing solutions
    - Build and maintain effective customer relationships through in-person visits and ongoing support
    - Collaborate with Labcorp Clinical Sales counterparts to identify and pursue new business opportunities
    - Stay informed about competitors' products and industry developments
    - Utilize market data and insights to identify sales opportunities
    - Provide updates on strategic initiatives and new business opportunities to senior leadership
    - Establish and maintain relationships with internal support departments
    - Manage travel logistics to maximize sales productivity
    - Attend professional trade shows and events as requested
    - Maintain accurate customer account information in Salesforce.com
    - Generate and maintain a sales pipeline to achieve revenue goals
    - Collaborate with team members to retain existing business
    - Conduct in-services, training, and implementation with healthcare professionals
    - Collaborate with LCA counterparts on new business opportunities

    Requirements:

    - Bachelor's degree preferred
    - 5+ years of sales or account management experience
    - Experience in the healthcare or medical device industry
    - Previous clinical laboratory or diagnostics sales experience desired
    - Proficiency in EMR, EHR, Epic, Cerner, or IT infrastructure preferred
    - Strong consultative selling and closing skills
    - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    - Strong time management and organization skills
    - Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.com
    - Ability to travel overnight as needed
    - Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
