Job summary

Pace is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Greensboro, NC to lead digital projects across brand content, websites, campaigns, and more. You will align client needs with creative, strategy, and development teams, ensuring on-time delivery and clear communication.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in digital PM, a Bachelor's in a related field, and experience with Workfront; PMP/SCRUM is a plus. Knowledge of CMS and marketing tools is preferred.

Qualifications

• PMP or SCRUM Master certifications a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in digital project management.
• Experience with Workfront for project management is required.
• Experience at a marketing agency is a plus.
• Ability to lead and direct the work of team members.

Responsibilities

• Partner with client account team to align on project needs, scope, and resources.
• Collaborate with creative, strategy, dev, analytics and performance teams on deliverables and timelines.
• Ensure projects meet deadlines and communicate scope changes to the client team.
• Engage with other project managers to share best practices and tool efficiencies.
• Coordinate with finance for budgets and estimates.
• Review and approve time entries weekly for close of prior weeks.
• Assign tasks in Workfront and monitor progress.
• Set deadlines, delegate responsibilities, and summarize project status for stakeholders.
• Monitor budgets and contribute to budget staying strategies.
• Follow existing PM processes and propose improvements.

Brief Description

The primary role of the Senior Project Manager is to clearly define and manage project scope while delivering quality assets in a fast-paced environment. In this capacity, the Senior Project Manager is the main liaison between the client solutions (account management) teams and the creatives, strategists, developers, and other internal teams. Impeccable communication and organizational abilities are a prerequisite for consideration. Projects will cover a wide range of topics, including creating brand content, social assets, websites, print magazines, custom emails, marketing campaigns, social media content, and videos.

Essential Functions

• Partner with client account team to align on project needs, dependencies, scopes of work, resources needed, estimates, status, milestones, burn reports and presentations.
• Collaborate with creative, strategy, developer, analytics and performance media teams on deliverables and timelines.
• Ensure project deliverables are on schedule for completion on or before deadlines, communicating any scope‑creep to client account team.
• Interact with other project managers on best practices and project management tool efficiencies.
• Partner with finance team for project plan entries and budget estimates.
• Review and approve submitted time entries on a weekly basis for prompt closure of prior weeks’ worked hours.
• Proper assignment of tasks within project management tool, Workfront.
• Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, monitor progress, and periodically summarize and communicate project status for account teams and/or upper management.
• Monitor budgets and help to develop a strategy to stay on budget.
• Works with head of Project Management team to follow existing processes and suggest improvements

Requirements

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Marketing, Communications or related field

PMP or SCRUM Master certifications a plus

Experience

5+ years of experience in digital project management

Experience With Workfront For Project Management Required

Experience at a marketing agency a plus

• The salary for this position will range from $63,000 - 80,000 depending on experience, education, geographical location, and other factors.
