Role Overview

The Terova Marketing Manager is responsible for creating and implementing brand and portfolio management strategies to enhance brand performance. The ideal candidate will have experience managing product portfolios, positioning brands effectively, and executing marketing strategies across multiple channels. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on brand development and communications to ensure the brand's purpose and products are effectively marketed to target audiences, driving sales growth.

This position requires a creative, strategic thinker with a strong understanding of marketing principles and a proven track record in growing ingredient brands in the food industry. The candidate should be capable of partnering with internal teams and external partners to deliver results and have a passion for sustainability and innovation in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Management
  • Develop the Terova portfolio strategy aligned with long-term growth and profitability in focus areas including Spices & Herbs, Specialty Extracts, and Sustainable Ingredients.
  • Create strategic portfolio management plans based on analytics and business insights.
  • Assess market, consumer, and competitor needs to identify gaps and opportunities, developing value propositions to meet 2030 aspirations.
  • Provide strategic guidance on 'Where to Play' and 'How to Win' initiatives based on trends and insights.
  • Analyze portfolio performance and recommend growth opportunities.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer insights, and competitive dynamics.
Brand Engagement & Communications
  • Develop and execute brand marketing strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Collaborate with leadership to communicate Terova's strategy, sustainability initiatives, and product developments internally and externally.
  • Maintain and enhance brand identity across all marketing channels.
  • Plan and manage multi-channel campaigns to promote products and capabilities.
  • Monitor campaign performance and optimize efforts based on insights.
  • Oversee the creation of marketing content like whitepapers, webinars, blogs, and social media posts.
  • Manage relationships with external content creators and agencies.
  • Organize participation in industry events and sponsorships to boost brand visibility.
Collaboration & Relationship Building
  • Support lead generation efforts by working closely with business development teams.
  • Develop marketing plans for segment leads to enhance recognition and differentiation.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Foster collaboration within Griffith Foods teams worldwide to align marketing initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of B2B marketing experience, including 3+ years in growth or product marketing, with a focus on brand awareness and lead generation.
  • B.A. or B.S., preferably in Food Science or Marketing.
  • Experience in food, nutrition, or supplement industries is preferred.
  • Proven success in brand strategy development and execution.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data tools (Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, Canva, Photoshop).
  • Experience with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram).
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and with external partners.
