Johnson & Johnson is currently seeking a Senior Marketing Manager, Downstream – Complex Spine to join our Spine Global Growth Marketing (GGM) Department located in Raynham, MA.

Reporting to the Sr. Director GGM Downstream, the role of the Senior Marketing Manager, Downstream – Complex Spine is to lead the commercial execution of the spine business’ global strategy pertaining to complex spine, inclusive of adult and pediatric deformity, tumor, trauma and other complex pathologies. This individual will lead a team and partner with key stakeholders to develop strategy and lead downstream marketing efforts to drive overall commercial success for the complex spine portfolio in both the US and globally.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and manage commercial strategies for the complex spine portfolio to achieve business plans: portfolio under management includes posterior screw fixation systems, complimentary enabling technology (ie Power, integration with Velys Spine) and ancillary products (sales agency, distribution products).
2. Lead and develop the Complex Spine Downstream Global Growth Marketing team.
3. Partner with upstream marketing, R&D, sales, supply chain, professional education, regional partners and others to develop and lead commercial strategies, portfolio management and launch excellence for complex spine across the globe.
4. Develop sustainable relationships with Worldwide KOL's, Sales, Marketing, and Regional leadership.
5. Lead surgeon and FSO engagement strategy through the lens of society, study group, research and professional education partnership.
6. Gather feedback from global FSO’s and regional business partners to thoroughly assess complex spine market and provide feedback to upstream marketing, R&D, business development and others to inform our spine strategy.
7. Partner with commercial leaders to develop and drive growth strategies at the surgeon, account, healthcare system, GPO/IDN, etc. level.
8. Critically examine market dynamics to support strategic and tactical marketing plans through robust customer interaction.
9. Incorporate DE&I efforts (e.g. Women in Spine) into commercial efforts.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of a BS/BA degree is required. MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
2. Candidate must have 10+ years total progressive business experience in any of the following areas: Marketing, R&D, Medical Device Sales.
3. A minimum of 5 years of healthcare experience or medical device experience is preferred.
4. Proven strong collaboration skills to effectively partner with regional and global business partners.
5. Ability to effectively lead, manage, and develop a team of marketers.
6. A strong ability to connect global strategy to commercial execution.
7. Understanding of business processes involved in operating in the medical devices, robotics and/or digital space.
8. Key performance areas include communication skills, product management, analytical skills, successful team player and ability to influence others.
9. Demonstrated ability to build, test, and gain support for strategies.
10. Demonstrate effective planning and prioritization skills and establishes self as expert and leader for new product development project.
11. Ability to communicate effectively to inform senior leaders of critical inputs for strategic and organizational implications of issues or decisions.
12. Proven ability to review data sets and discern trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvements.
13. Creative thinking and strong customer centric problem-solving skills.
14. Strong presentation skills and ability to influence others.
15. Ability to establish and maintain credibility as a knowledgeable business partner.
16. Ability to work within a matrix organization and to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
17. Should have a track record of career advancement and exceeding expectations.
18. Ability to travel up to 40%.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $120,000 to $207,000. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

2. Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year.
3. Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year.
4. Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year.
