Job summary

GEICO in New York City is seeking a Senior Marketing Data Operations Engineer to analyze large marketing data, design high-performance data platforms, and build pipelines that power optimization and insights across Marketing.

You will collaborate with Marketing Science and cross-functional teams, using SQL, Python/R/Scala, Snowflake or Databricks, and cloud DevOps practices in Azure/AWS/GCP to deliver reliable data solutions.

Qualifications

BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
5+ years programming in R, Python, or Scala for building data tools
5+ years SQL experience with Snowflake, Databricks or equivalent
3+ years building ETL/ELT data pipelines (batch or streaming)
3+ years Cloud DevOps concepts and Azure/AWS/GCP
2+ years REST APIs experience
2+ years Git/Confluence/SharePoint documentation and versioning

Responsibilities

Analyze datasets to develop marketing optimization
Design and build high-performance, low-latency data platforms and apps
Develop pipelines to enable data-driven business objectives
Collaborate with Marketing Science and cross-functional teams to streamline data processes
Create and maintain code and documentation in Git, Confluence, or SharePoint
