Job summary

Associated Employers Group is seeking a Marketing and Communications leader to drive the expansion into Southwest Montana. Based in or near Yellowstone County, MT, the role shapes brand strategy and ensures messaging across programs, philanthropy, and partners.

You will collaborate with leadership and external agencies, manage calendars and budgets, and tell stories from Montana while upholding privacy and consent standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive marketing, communications, public relations or brand experience with senior leadership responsibility.
• Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling skills.
• Ability to operate across complex organizations, multiple audiences and competing priorities.
• Experience with executive leadership and managing significant agency or professional-service partnerships.
• Strong understanding of brand, digital marketing, social media, email, web content and analytics.
• Nonprofit or philanthropic experience preferred.
• Master’s degree preferred in marketing, business, communications or similar field; certifications are a plus.
• Ability to travel periodically throughout Mountain West region.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior internal marketing and communications leader.
• Translate priorities into marketing and communications strategies.
• Steward brand architecture, positioning, messaging and visual identity.
• Develop annual marketing priorities, calendars and budgets.
• Collaborate with leadership, philanthropy and programs to drive initiatives.
• Coordinate internal and external agencies and partners.
• Gather stories and outcomes from across Montana for communications.
• Write and coordinate routine emails, web, newsletters and social content.
