Job summary

Southwest Power Pool (SPP) is seeking candidates for Senior Engineer roles (Sr. Engineer and Sr. Engineer II) to ensure data integrity supporting Congestion Rent, GHG, MTU, and WRAP operations within SPP Markets+.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from ABET-accredited program; calculus-based engineering field, preferred EE/CE/IE/ME/Systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; able to translate regulatory requirements into actionable criteria.
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and report on Congestion Rent, GHG, MTU, and WRAP operations.
• Coordinate with Markets+ Transmission Service Providers to verify Transmission Service Reservations.
• Support GHG tracking, response to RMS tickets, and MTU updates.
• Translate governing documents into application requirements and support testing of releases.
