Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience.

• Experience in NAM Power markets and risk management techniques is preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of financial instruments and risk metrics is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure trading desks stay within market risk tolerance limits.
• Monitor, analyze and report market risk exposure daily and long term.
• Approve or escalate transactions over established risk limits.
• Develop and maintain risk systems including VaR and limits monitoring.
• Collaborate with traders and risk managers to mitigate risk.
• Provide guidance on risk policies, controls and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and participate in risk-related projects and system upgrades.
• Communicate complex risk insights clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
