Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or related field.
- 7+ years hands-on experience in localization, tracking, and sensor fusion for dynamic systems.
- Proven track record in localization and target tracking through academic or commercial projects.
- Expert-level C++ development with Python and/or MATLAB prototyping.
Responsibilities
- Design and optimize multi-object tracking for maritime situational awareness.
- Contribute to real-time multi-sensor-multi-object fusion tracking algorithms.
- Create vessel motion models to enhance tracking accuracy.
- Develop radar-based localization and SLAM against reference maps.
- Deploy tracking and SLAM on edge hardware using optimized C++ implementations.
- Build robust sensor fusion for GPS/IMU signals and real-time inference.
- Develop global path-planning and local obstacle avoidance for autonomous routing.
