Boater's World Marine Centers in Grand Prairie, TX seeks an experienced marine technician with 3–5+ years of dealership experience to diagnose and repair both outboard and inboard propulsion systems. The role emphasizes advanced diagnostics, rigging, tuning, and accuracy in workmanship.

You will work with OEM software and various tools, perform sea trials, and document repairs while delivering top-quality customer service and professional teamwork.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of professional marine technician experience, preferably in a dealership environment.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting experience with outboard and inboard propulsion systems.
• Ability to diagnose complex mechanical and electrical concerns independently.
• Experience servicing Mercury, Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda, MerCruiser, Volvo Penta or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, fuel, cooling, steering, hydraulic, and performance-related issues on both outboard and inboard boats.
• Use OEM software, scan tools, manuals, and troubleshooting procedures to identify root causes.
• Interpret fault codes, live data, and electrical testing to verify repairs.
• Perform water testing and sea trials when needed to confirm repairs.
• Document findings and repairs in the dealership management system with precision.
