Job summary

Dragonfly Boatworks LLC is seeking an experienced Marine Rigger / Boat Rigging Technician to perform complete boat installations accurately, cleanly, and with limited supervision. This is not an entry-level or general labor position.

Applicants must have meaningful experience in marine rigging, boatbuilding, marine electrical work, or a closely related installation trade. We are looking for a dependable technician who understands that proper measurements, secure connections, organized routing,

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in marine rigging, boatbuilding, marine service, or related trade.
Working knowledge of 12- and 24-volt marine electrical systems.
Experience installing and troubleshooting wiring, batteries, switches, breakers, and pumps.
Ability to read wiring diagrams and follow production specifications.
Strong troubleshooting, attention to detail, and safe work practices.
Ability to work independently and report to supervision as needed.
Valid driver’s license and legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Rig boats from initial installation through final testing and completion.
Install outboard motors, steering systems, gauges, wiring, and electrical components.
Route wiring, hoses, and control lines neatly and safely.
Test installed systems and verify proper operation before boat leaves the department.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and coordinate with teams to meet schedule.
