Job summary

Resolve Marine is seeking a skilled Mechanic to perform preventive and breakdown maintenance on marine machinery and equipment. The role involves keeping service records, handling work orders, and traveling to field projects as needed.

You will report to the Project Manager in the field and to the Facility Superintendent when not deployed. Responsibilities include repairing equipment, documenting maintenance, tagging assets, coordinating parts, and supporting the Assets Department in maintenance

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a mechanic.
  • Knowledge of Detroit 671, 871, 1271 diesel engines.
  • Knowledge of gasoline engines, including 2-stroke Honda.
  • Marine diesel engine experience.
  • Basic knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Some basic marine electrical exposure.
  • Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Certification courses in at least 2 diesel/mechanical repair areas.
  • TWIC card or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

  • Repairs equipment and performs preventive maintenance per procedures and schedules.
  • Maintains service records and work orders for all motorized equipment and vessels.
  • Tags equipment indicating status and pending items.
  • Assists in developing proper maintenance check items for machinery.
