AmeriTech Staffing, Inc. is seeking an experienced Marine Technician / Boat Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain marine engines in a professional service environment. The role requires hands-on expertise and the ability to complete repairs independently with a strong safety ethic.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience with inboard and/or outboard engines, strong diagnostic skills, and own tools. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional marine engine repair experience.
• Hands-on experience with inboard and/or outboard engines.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with major marine engine manufacturers preferred.
• Must have own mechanic tools.
• Valid Driver's License.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair inboard and outboard marine engines.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, fuel, ignition, starting, charging, and cooling-system issues.
• Complete routine maintenance including tune-ups, oil changes, impeller replacement, and lower-unit service.
• Read and interpret service manuals and wiring diagrams.
• Test engines following repairs to verify proper operation.
• Accurately document completed repairs and service work.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Perform repairs independently and efficiently.
